2024 Scholarship Winners
Kirsten Curry: KIHS
Kirsten knew for a long time that she wanted to teach. She volunteered with her mom in an early childhood special education class. She said she found “joy” in teaching.
She also had a passion for cheerleading where she had weekend and evening practices and events.
This past summer she signed with the Towson University summer Cheerleading Squad.
She is attending Towson University.

Salisbury University HONORS College
Called herself as a yo-yo as she tried many career paths. However, we believe she was eliminating paths until she found her loveā¦ Secondary Education English.
Her goal is to be a trusted adult that students need. She wants to be that teacher students can rely on, that can help them overcome obstacles, and help them pursue their dreams.
She is an avid multi-tasker as she worked, played sports, lead in clubs, and volunteered while maintaining a high GPA in high school.
